A BLOG I MISSED TO SHARE 3 YEARS AGO

Last week was the end of second trimester of our son and a culmination of that is the awarding ceremony. I happened to forget where I placed the honor certificate and while I did my usual clean up routine, I scanned some records of the clear file of our son's academic files from kindergarten up to present. What breaks my heart is that I forget to frame up the certificates that our son gave us when he was still in Grade 1..Yes, the above so called-certificates he made for us when he was still 7 years old after the awarding ceremony..If I remember it right, he got excellence in science, math and fine arts with a trophy of perfect attendance. Just allow me to brag about this. This is the only aspect of my life that I can brag and be proud so loudly..For my readers and stalkers of my blogs, just be happy with me bragging when it comes to my son .(smile on my face)..I showed it to my husband and he was so touched remembering those innocent days when our son told us PAPA , MAMA I AM MAKING THIS FOR YOU BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WORK HARD FOR ME AND OUR FAMILY BACK HOME.I LOVE YOU.YOU ARE THE GREATEST! with a hug and kiss..I really cried if i remember it right with a pat on our shoulders from his teacher MRS. WILLIS, his first teacher here in US..played a big part on improving our son's confidence and constantly believing in him that he could be a great person someday. Thanks Mrs. Willis. You are an angel.

STAPLES EXPERIENCE PART 2

............I cannot help but share the experience of cheering as a group (reminds me of my highschool and college days)..we just went with the flow and if it happens that you heard some shouting and cheering in this particular game,,well well well,, we were part of it....nice one..even if they lost, the fun that we had was AMAZING..according to our son, PAPA AND MAMA NEXT TIME IF WE WILL WATCH THE LA LAKERS GAME, CAN WE HAVE A SEAT AT THE FRONT SO THAT WE COULD BE SEEN IN THE WIDE SCREEN AND WAVE.hehehe...(note to hubby: SAVE FOR IT LOVEY!).......

SON'S PIECE OF ART

Our son gave this piece of art to us before we spent a vacation in san francisco. This was given to us coupled with hugs and kisses and we decided to place this in our christmas tree. He told us that we should have put pictures of our family in our christmas tree (next time, and purchase a polaroid camera)..He is a very thoughtful kid. He likes to draw and make cards for us. I hope and pray that he will continue this as he grows up and share this wonderful trait to his friends and future family. Do I sound so sentimental? hehehe..Well, this is just being me...(big sigh!)

Our precious son

Our world becomes more colorful and meaningful when our son was born. Life seems complete but you want to achieve more because of our bundle of joy's future. We want him to grow up the best that he could be and we are going to support him all the way. Our prayers deepen in the sense that we fervently ask continued guidance for our son as he grow up in this world full of unpredicatble happenings. Seeing him now achieving something in his academics, a fulfillment as parents when some friends who know us will say "OH ALDWIN IS A GOOD BOY" and other people whom we met by just mere circumstance will say " YOU MUST BE PROUD OF YOUR SON, HE IS SUCH A GOOD BOY AND SMART, TOO!" No amount of money could buy the happiness that we felt everytime we heard comments like that. I know we still have a long way to go to perform our roles as parents, still a long way to go for him to achieve more for himself and to his future achievements but with God's graces and guidance, we BELIEVE that things will be fine and will work out according as planned. God knows what's best for us and for our son. We just have to trust Him and do our part. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
