An Update........VACATION 2011

Yes, June of this year we went for a month vacation in PI.....we attended the 40th wedding celebration of my parents....we gave them a surprise treat and a sort of thanksgiving for giving our family blessings and strength in every trial.....Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to witness the joys and celebration of the family's presence in this occasion.....There might be ups and downs but nonetheless, we know that we have each other to turn to ....Continue to shower your infinite love and blessings to us so that we would also continue to impart these blessings to others....Amen....

Feels good to be home!

Oh Yes! It's been a while that I didn't have an entry to my blogging world!..it's because i am still overwhelmed from our vacation in PI for almost a month..Yes, last month of July, we had our most awaited vacation after four years....From the packing of pasalubong, things to bring and all, really made me ngarag(stress)...but because personally i find enjoyment in doing these stuff..tired but excited at the same time...Yes, the three of us were very excited coming home to PI. ,,,Both our families felt the same..Our son kept on asking questions regarding his cousins and etc.. because he was still a little boy when we left for U.S....Surprisingly, even if there were many things to prepare, to update, to communicate to, to schedule bill pay, it seems everything came in unison,,because our excitement overpowered our tiredness....More more updates coming! and more pictures to share of family fun!....Thanks to those who emailed me..Yes, yes,I am back !...I will keep you updated.... For now, let me organize my pictures first..hehe! Love life!

A message and a prayer for my uncle back home

My friends cannot believe that i called him uncle because he is just 2 years older than me. He is the youngest brother of my mother...He was my defender and protector so to say way back in kindergarten and elementary years.....
He is in a situation right now wherein his faith in God is being tested . .Uncle, a lot of things are happening right now, we do have human answers based on what we believed as Christians. THere are things we cannot understand and questions we cannot answer inspite of the many sacrifices you gave and extend to the family...But let us lived to the truth that things do happen for a reason and whatever reasons will that be, God will let us understand it as we go through life. Just hold on to your faith and religiously follow whatever is expected of you to take and comply.
May our good LORD continue to shower strength and enlighten you always.. This is just a part of your journey. Just embrace it and you know that the rest of the family is behind you in this undertaking...Take care always! PRAYERS CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS, let us always believe in that.

SO FUNNY!

Really, this movie makes the three of us laughing out loud from late evening until the wee hours of the morning!...I never thought it would be this funny..I thought the trailer of the movie is just a trailer, you know just to make the viewers decide to watch it but the trailer is just the icing of the cake, the whole movie is intensely funny and crazy ..We had a Saturday night dvd watching because we were not able to do it on that Friday so we just pushed through with a Saturday.. Our cheeks were aching because of too much laughing and giggling and pushing each other everytime there's a very funny segment..Thanks God for this movie, we had a very sound sleep after watching, good therapy though....hehehe....Watch it! Strongly recommended if you have't seen it on the widescreen yet..

A FUN VIDEO OF MY FATHER AND SON

MY hubby looked at this video and can't help but laugh, with a hug for me thanking me for being this sentimental person that I am. Isn't it amazing looking at pictures and videos when we grow old and laughed every moment with it.Simple things in life really matters.Sometimes people just make it so complicated. .

STAPLES EXPERIENCE PART 2

............I cannot help but share the experience of cheering as a group (reminds me of my highschool and college days)..we just went with the flow and if it happens that you heard some shouting and cheering in this particular game,,well well well,, we were part of it....nice one..even if they lost, the fun that we had was AMAZING..according to our son, PAPA AND MAMA NEXT TIME IF WE WILL WATCH THE LA LAKERS GAME, CAN WE HAVE A SEAT AT THE FRONT SO THAT WE COULD BE SEEN IN THE WIDE SCREEN AND WAVE.hehehe...(note to hubby: SAVE FOR IT LOVEY!).......

A STAPLES EXPERIENCE PART 1

After attending mass last Sunday, my hubby decided to watch an LA CLIPPERS game at staples for the first time. Since it was his day off, we convinced our son (of course with a deal hehe) then off we went. It's realizing a childhood dream to get inside the staples and watch the NBA teams playing. Although he is an LA Lakers fan, he decided to push through just to be able to experience the inside fun and soon with the LA LAkers , praying for a day off if they have a game. . He just booked at the ticket exchange because the tickets are at a cheaper price..but far from the court hehe. anyway, just for fun and experience. . INDEED WE HAD FUN!
We were like small kids giggling inside the staples center and even our son had a blast taking pictures of the performers hehe.Call us "mababaw na kaligayahan'(shallow happiness), but this means a big thing to us. I think we deserve a much needed break as a family from time to time, no pressures of preparations, just the moment that we have each other experiencing all the opportunities that comes our way and soon sharing the same experience with our family back home,,,,,SOON....Thanks God for this time and experience.

Our boy!

Just went through some pics this early Sunday morning while waiting for my father and son to get up to attend mass(hubbys off weekend),i've come to run through some pics of our son ready for school. As I went through his past pics from nursery and kindergarten, i became so emotional(as usual), He has grown so much and matured so much. He is our source of love and inspiration and never ceases to make us proud. He might be naughty sometimes but boys will always be boys so to say. Our goal is to make him lost 10 lbs of weight. A bigboned boy as what his past doctor once said..Jesus please guide him always and Mama Mary embrace him always from harm with your loving arms.

Looking forward!

I considered this day as bfgf day..why?...it's so funny feeling like a steady date during our first year as bfgf days.hehe..Guilty perhaps?(just thinking ) and tried to teased him..But he is so serious which made me guilty of teasing him..I thanked God because he is more open to me in so many things which i thought I know everything about him already and same here wih me. We discovered so many things from our talk,,Would i be thankful that a spat happened just to go to this level?maybe there is a purpose...Only the two of us know the reasons why it happened, and we will try our best to bury it and looking forward to a more sweeter life ahead of us with our son..We are planning to add one in our family but hopefully it will be realized after we will take our vacation in PI soon...Everything comes at the right time, right moment in our life, emotionally and financially , i think we are ready to have one...WE just have to wait and see....At least both of us have the same goals, priorities and vision in life,by God's grace....

WHAT HE TOLD ME!

When we had a spat recently, it's my personality not to talk and discuss with him in the middle of my anger and hurt, because i believe that if you will say things when you are angry, sometimes you don't mean it and will sound very crushing to the heart. . Well, its just my opinion and it works with us..It took 3 days not talking to him , thats how much hurt i was. Little did i know that he has not been sleeping well and i observed that he lost weight. i never took care of him as he usually received everyday from work..what i had in mind is just to take good care of my son. .He texted me and called me but never answered. I want him to learn and feel that i was really hurt. . When i saw the efforts he had done to win me back(with the help of our son), slowly the forgiveness takes place and the chance to talk sets in, i told him everything and he cried. When it was his turn to say his part, i also cried..he told me.." I THOUGHT I ALMOST LOST YOU..I MISS YOU (ek,ek ek hehehe)..ETC ETC...well well well,,,,things has been said and done, whats more important is that at the end of the day, we talked, we forgave each other and we vow to be strong amidst temptations and challenges...making us stronger than ever...YES, drama happens everyday in marriage, like in movies,,so to say,,,but then again,,,,THATS HOW LIFE GOES...

Through it all!

Through it all,,,,everybody deserves a second chance..(always a second chance just like what MR. BOY ABUNDA says)....It was so funny because i overheard my son talking to his papa a night before the dramatic 'harana'(serenade) happens which goes like this...PAPA THATS HOW IT GOES..YOU HURT MAMA, YOU HAVE TO WIN HER BACK..BUY HER FLOWERS AND STUFF JUST LIKE IN MOVIES..C'MMON PAPA I KNOW YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT...DON'T YOU KNOW IT BOTHERS ME TO SEE MAMA CRY IN THE ROOM AND THE TWO OF YOU ARE NOT TALKING?... I KNOW THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG EVEN YOU WILL NOT TELL ME...i told myself..GOD THANK YOU FOR OUR SON,,(my angel),,it's just that matrimonial spat do happens even if you will tell yourself you can handle it...at the end of the day, it will always be our family to go to and we only have each other to care and love for...and as what our son said,,THAT'S HOW IT GOES............he sounds so mature....love you son!

Loving myself

(The above pics at Citizens Bank Arena, Ontario , California where the disney on ice show was performed! It was a childhood dream realized and witnessed in my own naked eyes...!..)
This blog entry is exactly typed at 1:38 early morning. I just had my 4 hour-sleep..but since it's officially Monday, i think this will already be a go go effect from preparing everything for my son to preparing for myself too.Honestly speaking, i am very down right now. Why? a lot of reasons. One, i felt being taken for granted. I am a very simple person to please. It's just that it's more hurting to know that the person whom you considered special in so many ways, hurts you in BULLS EYE, the very core of my emotional being, in a very weak physical state of health.I don't usually ask favor but if i asked for one, it is very much needed.....Just so hurt...(sob)

A child in me

Eldest of six children of my wonderful parents, made me who I am now building up the foundation needed to tackle life and to make my own decisions to live my own life...Now, with a wonderful and smart son and with God given and supportive husband..

Did I miss my childhood? In a point maybe, since I am the eldest, I was given the responsibility to take good care of my siblings. At some point I cried because I was taught by my father to do household chores at a very early age telling me that what he taught me would help me in life, making myself ready to live a life and to my future family. That time, I just did my part, feeding my siblings, cleaning the house, having in mind whats the proper time to cook food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My father is absolutely right!

I did have my childhood memories too,, playing different games but with a suitable time only. If I remember it right, I consider myself as a homebody and shy. Maybe this was influenced by what and how I was brought up of taking care of my siblings. During that time, i felt the need of greater responsibility for them.

When it comes to academic achievements, I had my share of these.. just look at the pictures(not bragging ha..average lang naman heheh) (to follow na ang iba ha,) I still have to organize my photos since some of it are still in the Philippines...

NOTE:(to be continued next time ha,,i still have to attend to the needs of my son, have cough, due to extreme change of weather,,very unpredictable, still not get used to this..hmmmm..see yah!)
